How Florida Startups Can Get Credits for Microsoft Azure
Earlier in 2022, Microsoft launched a new platform to help entrepreneurs launch their startups called, appropriately enough, Microsoft for Startups. This platform comes with a host of features for its users, offering technical support, networking, and startup-centered training just to name a few. However, one of the features that we’re most excited to tell Florida startups about is the opportunity for small businesses to use Microsoft for Startups to earn up to $150,000.00 in Azure Credit.
Azure Credit is credit that can be used on Microsoft’s Azure platform, which is the company’s comprehensive cloud computing service. Many, if not most, of these services are especially useful for startups. Azure includes everything from data management to storage services and much, much more. Not all of the tools offered by Microsoft’s Azure are Microsoft specific, either, as third-party systems are also supported.
Florida startups can gain Azure credits when using Microsoft for Startups to launch their business. The amount of credit available to your startup depends on whether your business is in the idea phase, the development phase, the growth phase, or the scaling phase.
While your Florida startup is still in the idea phase, it will be eligible for up to $1,000.00 in Microsoft Azure Credit to help prototype your product.
However, your eligible credit will be raised to $5,000.00 at the development phase so that your prototype can become a viable product.
Once your Florida startup has launched its product and turned its focus towards shipping logistics and expanding its customer base, then it will be considered to be in its growth phase. At this stage, your business’s Azure Credit will be boosted all the way up to $25,000.00.
The credit cap will then expand to a maximum of $150,000.00 as your company expands its scale.
Florida startups should consider taking advantage of this opportunity, as it could allow them to save a lot of capital and expand faster than they might otherwise have been able to.
